RTÉ lyric fm, which broadcasts classical – traditional, folk, and jazz music, is available on FM in Ireland (96-99 FM), on satellite, Sky Digital TV in Ireland and Britain, and via the Internet.
RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta (RnaG) is the Irish music radio based in Casla. Before March 2005, RnaG was solely broadcasting Irish language programs. However, after March 2005 the radio started airing English music also. RnaG is available on 92-94FM (102.7 in the Northeast) in Ireland, and thru the Internet. RTÉ Gold is the Irish music radio broadcasting classic hits- traditional & folk music, from the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s and 1980s.
Dublin's Q102 is an independent local radio Service aimed at older listeners. It is not solely folk music radio, yet airs a lot of Classical – traditional & folk music. Dublin's Q102 is available on 102.2 MHz FM. Dublin's Q102 is licensed to target the 35+ age group. Dublin's Country Mix 106.8' is another Irish music radio, which broadcasts a mix of traditional, folk, country, crossover, and Irish music. The station primarily appeals to a 35+ audience.
